The youth ministry here at Laurelglen Bible Church is called Remedy student ministries. We have chosen Remedy because Jesus says in Mark 2:17 that it is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. We as sinners must first understand that we are sinners who are in need of the healing only Jesus Christ can provide.

Our Mission is to bring broken people to Jesus.

We have adults and students dedicated to helping broken people bring other broken people to Jesus; our prayer is that you would join us.

We have a small group ministry that meets on Sunday evenings called IMPACT. These groups can meet in various locations, contact Kent Schlecht for information about joining a group. IMPACT exists to encourage our youth toward serious discipleship along with others their own age guided by adult leaders.

Our main meeting time is Wednesday night at 7:00 in the High School Room (C109). The night centers on our time to hangout, catching-up on each other’s week, and preaching God’s word. We would love for you to join us, all High School aged students are welcome.

Wildwood is Hume Lake’s discipleship camp for students who wish to push themselves beyond the familiar into a world of exceptional devotion to God. Wildwood’s philosophy of stripping away the layers of falsehood and distraction is evidenced in daily interactions and candid discussions about students’ lives, struggles, and answering God’s call for deeper devotion to Him. Set in the back forests of Hume’s property, Wildwood emphasizes overcoming obstacles and learning to discipline oneself in response to the challenges of life.

Campers need to be at LBC, Sunday, July 16 @ 11am for Health Screening and Check-In. BUS TRANSPORTATION WILL BE PROVIDED. Please click HERE to complete the Remedy Student Medical Release and Liability Form required for riding the bus. Thank You!
