The youth ministry here at Laurelglen Bible Church is called Remedy student ministries. We have chosen Remedy because Jesus says in Mark 2:17 that it is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. We as sinners must first understand that we are sinners who are in need of the healing only Jesus Christ can provide.

Our Junior High group meets every Sunday morning at 9:00am, during the first service. We have a social hang out time, worship, Bible teaching time and prayer. The students have a lot of fun while challenging their understanding of what it means to have faith in Jesus Christ and to live as a believer in Jesus.

We also meet every Wednesday from 7:00pm-8:30pm where we come together and worship and then break up into our small groups. The students meet in a small group, discussing biblical truths from Scripture. We have a dedicated team of adults and young adults that guide those discussions through culturally relevant topics to get a better understanding of what faith in Jesus is all about.

Special events take place throughout the year so please continue to visit our website for details and photos to give you a better idea of what’s in store for you.

THEME TITLE | “FORSAKEN”
Too often we find our identity and worth in things other than the Lord. We choose not to obey or to fear the Lord but rather to serve whatever satisfies our desires. This summer we will examine the life of King Saul. Although, he was a man anointed by God, he chose to fear people and serve himself. Do our lives mimic his tragic downfall or will we reverently fear the Lord and desire to serve Him faithfully day in and day out?

This summer, our desire is for students to walk away from this week, desiring to fear the Lord and to serve Him faithfully with their lives.

Campers need to be at LBC, Sunday, July 16 @ 11am for Health Screening and Check-In. BUS TRANSPORTATION WILL BE PROVIDED. Please click HERE to complete the Remedy Student Medical Release and Liability Form required for riding the bus. Thank You!
