Worship – Grow – Serve

Worship We gather on Sundays to praise God together for sending His son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins. We learn together from God’s word so our hearts can be changed to be more like Jesus. This sets the foundation for our week (Colossians 3:16-17, Romans 12:1-2).

Grow We take the teaching we heard from the Bible on Sunday and study it during the week. Then we take what we learned and share it with others in a small group. This allows us to learn from others and be accountable for what God is doing in our hearts. As we grow in our relationship with Christ, we will become more like Him. This is done through prayer and reading the scriptures. As a Christian, you are never done growing (John 15:1-9, Ephesians 4:11-16, 1 Timothy 4:6-10).

Serve When we take what we’re learning and apply it to our lives, that application leads to service. Serving is the fruit of our growth; it shows how we have grown. We want to serve each other in the church, helping each other as needed. We also want to serve people outside the walls of our church; that means we want to serve our neighbors, our families, and people all over the world as Christ served us. We believe serving is something you get to do, not have to do (Mark 9:33-37, Mark 10:35-45, Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 12:12-31).

This is our discipleship process. We believe this helps us change our hearts to be more like Jesus. We invite you to join this process with us!
